We've not soaked out the stabilizer yet so that is the white stuff you see around the edges.
It turned out really nice, I'm not a very experienced yet using the embroidery machine. But it also got me a lil more comfortable in using it and I learned a lot doing this project. It got me in the mood to try a in the hoop project I noticed everyone on a f.b. group I joined was making. So I found out where to buy the design from and got with it. Here is the design I wanted to try....
I bought the design from here.... Dolls and DayDreams. They have some super cute designs and I loved how they gave you step by step directions making it super easy to make.
Here is my first one I made yesterday and I have another one in the hoop now for my grandbaby. I plan on making a few for display in my house for Easter.
This one is for my granddaughter Alexandria...
Don't ya think it is adorable?
What else have I been working on? Well I you know me I always have more then one or two projects going on at once. I've been working on my Merry Go Round challenge for my quilt group. Here is mine and yes I need to do some un-sewing and resewing can u see my goof?
I've also been working on our round robin challenge for quilt group but I'm can't post that just in case she is lurking out there. LOL!!!
So I have just a few hours left till I go to work and I hope to get another bunny done so I need to close out this post now. Sorry I was so long I am going to try and make it my goal to post once a week at the least.
One more photo before I go. Here are my studio helpers. Lucy and Ethel!
Happy Crafting!!!!
Love the bunnies! I don't have an embroidery sewing machine, but I might be able to embroider the same face by hand. They are so cute! And, yes, I did spot the mistake in the cat and heart quilt - top right hand corner block turned the wrong way? I love it just as it is. When mistakes are made, I just call it "charming".
